01  His Beatitude visits London

His Beatitude Patriarch Ignatius visited London from 10-17 April 2007, for meetings of the consultative committee for Balamand University.

Patriarch Ignatius' program included:

• Meeting with the consultative committee body for Balamand University, focusing on future development plans concerning the University's activities.
• Visiting the representative of the Archbishop of Canterbury, discussing the preparations for the Archbishop's expected visit to the region.
• Attending the Divine Liturgy on Saint Thomas Sunday, at Saint George Church, London, where talks with the faithful highlighted the future action priorities for the church.
• Receiving a delegation from the Syrian Embassy in London.
• Receiving Father Michael, from Cambridge University, during which different ways of cooperation between the two universities were discussed.
